Job Description: The Senior Professional, Business Analyst is a reporting specialist responsible for designing, enhancing, and operationalizing high-impact vendor analytics using an established vendor data lake. This role operates within a governed vendor data lake to ensure vendor headcount and spend data is accurate, standardized, and decision-ready to provide executive leadership with real-time strategic answers. You will serve as the primary expert in translating complex business questions into automated reporting products. The ideal candidate is a master of reporting who can leverage AI tools to automate manual data cleanup and perform deep-dive ad-hoc analysis. This role is accountable for cultivating and strengthening collaborative working relationships with senior executives, operational leadership, and process owners from Cotality and vendor organizations across geographies and functional lines. This role will be the primary SDVM point of contact for various requests related to building and improving vendor related reporting. Availability until 11:30pm IST required for daily overlap with US stakeholders. Hybrid work model. Comprehensive training on current vendor data products and authoritative systems will be provided. Build and enhance sophisticated reporting and analytics products, including data transformation logic and dashboard creation. Use expert-level Excel logic (Power Query/Pivot) to perform monthly data standardization, validation, and reporting-layer transformations from authoritative sources. Leverage Generative AI and advanced prompt techniques to query governed datasets, identify anomalies, and automate data cleanup and recurring analysis workflows. Develop dynamic, interactive dashboards in Looker, Tableau, and Excel that provide multi-year longitudinal trending and strategic insights for BU leaders. Identify and re-engineer high-touch manual processes currently managed in local spreadsheets into streamlined, repeatable reporting logic. Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards using vendor spend and headcount data across Excel, SQL-based querying, Tableau, and Looker. Perform data analysis, and reporting-layer transformations using curated datasets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms. Design and deliver executive-facing dashboards in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, or Looker that clearly communicate key insights from vendor spend and headcount data to support strategic decision-making. Ensure accurate and timely data availability to meet business needs Develop and maintain repeatable data transformation and reporting logic within analytics and BI tools. Produce ad-hoc analyses and AI-assisted queries to support evolving business and executive reporting needs.
