Launch Operations Project Manager

The NCX Launch Operations team ensures that N ew C ontent E xperiences, such as Live Events and Podcasts are set up and executed flawlessly on service for members worldwide. As our slate expands in scale and complexity, this role's operational impact grows significantly. As a NCX Project Manager, you will oversee the setup, configuration (technical, creative, and operational coordination ) and successful execution of each experience. This includes assessing feasibility, managing workflows, ensuring data accuracy, validating the end-to-end experience, and driving cross-functional clarity throughout the lifecycle of a project. Real-time, quality decision-making is critical to this role , especially when unexpected issues arise. We’re looking for someone who can move quickly, anticipate potential challenges and collaborate effectively across many global teams. You will operate at the center of how these new content experiences come to life for Netflix members. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Execution excellence: You are fully accountable for the configuration and launch of New Content experiences on the service. This involves managing the entire process and ensuring that all elements come together smoothly, especially considering the unique and often complex nature of new content types and experiences at Netflix. You will also conduct feasibility checks, rapidly scoping out and defining the necessary requirements for launching any new experience on the service. High-Velocity Communication and Clarity: Provide timely, concise communication that aligns partners. Set clear expectations, drive quick decisions and be seen as the reliable go-to contact with a strong understanding of Netflix’s tools and workarounds. Risk and Issue Management : Identify risks early, create mitigation plans and partner closely with teams to resolve issues quickly when needed. Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the Launch Operations point of contact for Program Managers, Creative teams, Engineering, Innovation Operations, and more. Workflow and Tooling Improvements: Collaborate with the Program Manager and technical partners to evolve workflows and tooling that support a growing slate. While this isn’t an engineering role, comfort working with internal tools or data systems is valuable. Operational Standards and Knowledge Sharing : Share learnings and continuously improve processes across the team.
