Senior Associate, AV Support Strategic Planning Department: Community Operations Team: Strategy & Program Operations Location: Chicago, United States Type: Full-Time **About the Role** The Global Community Operations organization provides support to Uber customers and various partners. As autonomous vehicles (AVs) become an increasingly important part of our offering, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Strategic Planning Associate to help manage the operational rhythm and planning efforts for AV Support. This role will be critical in leading key planning cadences, driving workforce and financial tracking, and informing agent strategy decisions. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Product, and Community Operations to build scalable mechanisms that guide investments, headcount strategy, and performance tracking across AV Support verticals including Rider/Eater Support, Remote Vehicle Assistance, and Field Support Operations. This role sits at the intersection of financial rigor and strategic judgment - you will build and defend the operating plan, own headcount and budget forecasting, and advise on how our support network should evolve. This is not a traditional FP&A role, the right candidate brings strong financial foundations alongside the ability to form and influence business strategy. **What You'll Do** - **Lead Strategic Planning Cadences:** Act as the point of contact for AV Support’s mid-year and annual planning cycles, owning financial and operational components such as headcount forecasts, OKRs, and investment asks. Lead ad hoc strategic investment decisions to inform high-impact decisions in a rapidly evolving space - **Workforce and Budget Management:** Own headcount planning and forecasting across Mobility CX, Delivery CX, Remote Assistance, and Field Support Ops. Track actuals vs plan and proactively flag risks and actionable recommendations.
