The Opportunity This role will lead one of two Enterprise New Business Sales teams in the US, with ownership of all new business sales across US West. Your primary responsibility will be to support and drive the team to accurately identify, qualify, structure, and close opportunities that help grow Zuora’s critical US business. Starting with 6 Account Executives, this is an exciting opportunity to accelerate your leadership career in a highly rewarding, hands-on role. In this role, you will: Deliver strong, predictable quarterly sales execution Partner with the GM to develop and execute the sales strategy for the region Drive discipline and rigor across the team to maximize sales outcomes Understand and articulate the latest market trends and innovations, and connect them to Zuora’s value proposition and roadmap Identify, model, and execute revenue-generating business opportunities Lead dedicated regional resources across sales development, pre-sales, sales, and services Partner with the Alliances Director to build successful long-term strategic partnerships Partner with the Marketing Director to create plans that generate awareness, demand, and pipeline for Zuora Develop, analyze, and present business metrics including operating results, forecasts, and key performance indicators Location Work Arrangements Organizations and teams at Zuora are empowered to design efficient and flexible ways of working, being intentional about scheduling, communication, and collaboration strategies that help us achieve our best results. We are looking for candidates based on the West Coast and ideally in the Bay Area close to our HQ in Foster City. About You You are a dynamic, high-energy sales leader with a strong track record of building new business in the US, ideally in a SaaS environment and/or selling innovative solutions that challenge the status quo. You bring: Demonstrated success winning seven-figure, complex enterprise deals involving multiple senior stakeholders and regional or global Systems Integrators Flexible and creative thinking, paired with a strong “do what it takes” mindset to win business The intellect and business acumen to lead sophisticated sales engagements and position complex business transformation solutions with customers An inspirational, lead-from-the-front leadership style that motivates teams and drives high performance An entrepreneurial, inquisitive, and curious approach to understanding customer businesses Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to inform decisions A confident and engaging presence that encourages cross-functional collaboration Humility and integrity as the foundation of your leadership style Natural gravitas when working with senior executives, both internally and externally Experience managing to a sales methodology, especially Value Selling About the Team You will work closely with key supporting functions including Solution Consulting, Sales Development, Marketing, Partner Services, and Global Services, as well as leaders across the broader sales organization.
