You will oversee our pharmacy tech team, including hiring, scheduling, and day-to-day operational task oversight. This is an opportunity to promote a safe, efficient, and impactful pharmacy team operating at the core of exceptional patient care, whilst pushing forward what it means to operate a pharmacy in a digital environment.This role is based on-site in our Gilbert, Arizona facility.The hours for this shift are Mon-Fri 2:00pm-10:00pm. If this shift does not align with your availability, please take a look at the other shifts we are currently hiring for.You Will:Oversee all pharmacist tech workflow and operations within the front-end pharmacyLead one-on-ones and pharmacy team huddles with pharmacist techs to promote and achieve high levels of performancePractice all state and federal pharmacy regulations for the ordering, handling, and management of prescriptions and/or prescription drug productsOversee, support and develop your leads and pharmacist techs within initiatives designed to drive scalability and efficiency within the pharmacy from both a systems and workflow perspectiveExecute high level company and pharmacy strategiesAnalyze data in key areas related to performance, safety, error tracking and trend dataCoordinate new process development and their implementation planCollaborate on the development and review of standard operating proceduresWork closely with General Manager and Ops leaders to ensure the pharmacists and tech team work in lock-step with each other and the needs of the businessFollow all state and pharmacy regulations and rules as designated by the State of Pharmacy and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)Maintain and promote all security and privacy rules regarding the use and handling of protected health information (PHI) in compliance with federal and state HIPAA regulationsUpdate and maintain patient profile records as necessary according to state pharmacy regulationsPromote and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment as mandated by the FDA’s rules and regulationsProvide a world class pharmacy experience for every one of our patientsContact and engage with potential candidatesPerform regular pharmacist and pharmacist tech duties such as drug utilization reviews, medication label checks, patient counseling, drug information review as neededLead employer-directed pharmacy technician education programsServe as a member on the pharmacy quality teamAs part of this role you are expected to be or get licensed in multiple key states as required by the businessYou Have:Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred) Required5-7 years in a pharmacy supervisory role with experience managing licensed and registered pharmacy technicians RequiredEffective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulations related to the practice of pharmacyAbility to work flexible shift timesProficiency in English, verbal and writtenProficiency in ...
