Sr. Integrations Solutions Engineer

<p>We are seeking a <strong>Senior Integration Solutions Engineer</strong> to architect and deliver next-generation automation and AI-driven integrations across Pendo’s enterprise ecosystem. This role blends traditional iPaaS expertise with emerging <strong>agentic AI automation</strong>, leveraging tools like <strong>Workato Agentic Studio</strong>, <strong>Zapier</strong>, <strong>Gemini, ChatGPT</strong>, and other low-code/no-code and LLM-based platforms to create intelligent, scalable, workflows that accelerate business outcomes.</p> <h4><strong>Role Responsibilities</strong></h4> <ul> <li><strong>Design, implement, and maintain intelligent integrations</strong> between Pendo and enterprise SaaS platforms using <strong>iPaaS and AI automation platforms</strong> (Workato preferred, including <strong>Workato Agentic Studio</strong>, Zapier, n8n, or similar).</li> <li><strong>Build and orchestrate AI-powered automations</strong> that use <strong>Gemini, ChatGPT, Workato Agents, and/or APIs</strong> to enrich data, generate insights, and enhance workflow decision-making.</li> <li>Partner with internal business units to lead <strong>discovery and design sessions</strong>, identifying automation opportunities and assessing integration scope, feasibility, and ROI.</li> <li><strong>Prototype and deploy LLM-powered solutions</strong>, including contextual chatbots, document summarization agents, and automated data quality checks.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve integration or AI automation issues using diagnostic tools such as curl, Postman, API logs, and platform-specific monitors.</li> <li>Ensure <strong>secure and compliant authentication flows</strong> (OAuth, tokens, client credentials) across all systems.</li> <li>Proactively <strong>monitor integration performance, reliability, and model accuracy</strong>, applying observability best practices.</li> <li>Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration and automation designs, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for IT and internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Contribute to the <strong>continuous improvement of integration and AI governance</strong>, including standards, templates, and reusable components.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with <strong>iPaaS platforms</strong> (Workato strongly preferred; Tray.io, Zapier, n8n, or similar acceptable).<br>Experience with <strong>Workato Agentic Studio</strong> or comparable <strong>AI automation tools</strong> integrating LLMs into workflows.</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>ChatGPT, OpenAI API</strong>, and prompt engineering principles for task automation and data enrichment.</li> <li>Strong technical background with experience in <strong>APIs</strong>, <strong>web protocols (HTTP/HTTPS)</strong>, and <strong>data formats (JSON, XML)</strong>.<br>Solid understanding of <strong>authentication protocols</strong> (OAuth 2.0, API tokens, client credentials).<br>Proficiency with <strong>diagnostic and monitoring tools</strong> (curl, Postman, API logs, or equivalent).</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; able to bridge business needs with technical execution.</li> <li>Strong documentation and communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.</li> <li>Collaborative mindset with a passion for <strong>process automation and AI innovation</strong> across business units.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Pendo Description:</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pendo was founded in 2013 by former product managers, who combined their heads and hearts to build something they wanted but never had as product managers -- a simple way to understand and attack what truly drives product success.
