You’ll work across backend and frontend domains, collaborating with product, design, and data teams to build innovative, AI-driven, and customer-centric solutions.</p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Architect and build full-stack systems</strong> spanning scalable, multi-tenant backend services and rich, responsive frontend applications.</li> <li><strong>Design, implement, and optimize</strong> distributed systems, integrations and APIs using languages such as Go, Python, or TypeScript.</li> <li><strong>Develop engaging, reliable web experiences</strong> using Vue (or similar frameworks such as React or Angular), integrating data visualizations, and delivering guides to millions of end users.</li> <li><strong>Integrate AI and data-driven capabilities</strong> (LLMs, GenAI, LangChain) into Pendo’s core products to enhance user insight and automation.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate cross-functionally</strong> with design, product, and data teams to translate complex requirements into elegant solutions.</li> <li><strong>Lead and mentor peers</strong>, conduct design and code reviews, and promote engineering best practices across the stack.</li> <li><strong>Ensure quality and reliability</strong> through automated testing (Jest, Cypress, etc.), monitoring, and continuous improvement.</li> <li><strong>Contribute to technical strategy</strong> and drive large-scale initiatives that improve Pendo’s technology platform and developer experience.<br><br></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of professional software engineering experience building full-stack applications, distributed systems or integrations.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages (Go, Java, Python, C++) and at least one modern frontend framework (Vue, React, or Angular).</li> <li>Experience with <strong>cloud platforms</strong> (AWS/GCP), <strong>containerization</strong> (Kubernetes, Docker), and <strong>databases</strong> (SQL/NoSQL).</li> <li>Deep understanding of <strong>scalable web architecture</strong>, <strong>API design</strong>, and <strong>performance optimization</strong>.</li> <li>Experience designing and writing <strong>unit, integration, and end-to-end tests</strong>.</li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>AI/ML technologies</strong>, <strong>LLMs</strong>, or <strong>MLOps</strong> is a plus.</li> <li>Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.</li> <li>BS+ in Computer Science or equivalent experience<br><br></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Attributes Mindset</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Self-motivated, accountable, and eager to solve complex challenges.</li> <li>Passionate about building products that impact millions of users.</li> <li>Thrives in collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving environments.</li> <li>Committed to learning, mentoring, and continuous improvement.<br><br></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Example Technologies Tools</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Frontend:</strong> Vue, Vuex, React, Angular, Highcharts, Jest, Cypress</li> <li><strong>Backend:</strong> Go, Java, Python, C++</li> <li><strong>Cloud Data:</strong> AWS, GCP, Redis, PubSub, SQL/NoSQL</li> <li><strong>AI/ML: </strong>GenAI, LLMs, LangChain, MLOps</li> </ul> <p><strong>Pendo Description:</ ...
