Senior Android Software Engineer

The Toast POS (point-of-sale) app is the central pillar of Toast’s restaurant products. Millions of servers, hosts, bartenders, and chefs use Toast’s POS daily to serve their guests! </p> <p>Toast is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our Kiosk team. T<strong>his team is responsible for owning the Kiosk product, a guest facing Android tablet that enables self-ordering and payment at restaurants. </strong>The Kiosk team recently rolled out a new Kiosk experience to all Toast restaurants, and now we are looking to further enhance Kiosk by adding new features that will improve the guest experience and increase restaurant operational efficiency. </p> <p>If you want to be at the forefront of creating something tangible that is used every day to help restaurants worldwide achieve their vision, then Toast is the place for you.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>About this roll* (Responsibilities) </strong></p> <ul> <li>Work collaboratively with UX, PM, QA and other engineers building the Kiosk Android application</li> <li>Develop and maintain Kiosk workflows, including Kiosk workflows for ordering, payments, loyalty programs, and more</li> <li>Drive best practices and help choose modern technologies to evolve our current tech stack while writing world-class applications</li> <li>Provide design feedback and participate in code reviews to ensure implementations meet requirements</li> <li>Ensure that all work done by the team is delivered with quality and is appropriately monitored and supported in production</li> <li>Mentor other team members to enhance the team's effectiveness</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Do you have the right ingredients*?
