The successful candidate will oversee critical issues including, but not limited to, gaming, child safety, artificial intelligence, privacy, and consumer protection.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, driven to develop and execute creative strategies that advance Roblox’s business and priorities within the region. This position is based in Seoul and reports directly to the Head of Public Policy, Asia Pacific.The Director of Korea Public Policy will play a critical part in shaping Roblox's future in the country by establishing and executing effective public policy strategies. This role is instrumental in ensuring compliance, addressing policy issues, and fostering strong relationships with external partners, ultimately contributing to a safer and more engaging environment for Roblox's global community of developers and creators.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>You Will</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain and build relationships with Korean policymakers and political figures</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Identify, monitor, and analyze policy issues affecting Roblox in Korea</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and execute policy strategies around issues important to Roblox</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist the wider public policy team on ongoing projects and initiatives</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Advise Roblox internal stakeholders on policy matters as inputs to the development of our products and business operations</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Articulate Roblox’s public policy positions and produce briefing papers and consultation responses</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Empowered to fully pursue both your personal life and career goals, with support to take on increasing responsibilities and calculated risks for growth</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>You Have</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor's degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Media, Technology, or related field of study or equivalent</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">10+ years of experience working with policymakers and stakeholders in Korea</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Deep knowledge of the Korea policymaking and public opinion process</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; ...
