Our team sits at the core of advertising systems at Roblox, powering high-scale, high-throughput data systems that shape ads personalization, ranking, and measurement. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will architect and build foundational data pipelines, real-time streaming systems, and scalable feature computation frameworks. Your work will enable rapid experimentation, empower ranking models, and support personalized ad delivery at massive scale. You will collaborate closely with engineers across ML, backend, and analytics to shape the future of ads data infrastructure at Roblox. This role is a great fit for you if you are proficient in managing large scale systems and data-driven applications and have a zeal for developing inspiring, easily maintainable, and reusable code. Join our highly skilled and rapidly growing team and make a significant impact at Roblox.</p> <h3><strong>You Will:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Build high-performance data pipelines and real-time streaming systems that support both online and offline ML features, training data and statistical computation at scale.</li> <li>Design and scale robust data infrastructure for powering retrieval and ranking of various ads systems across Roblox</li> <li>Ensure data systems are reliable, observable, privacy-compliant, and performant under heavy concurrency and high throughput.</li> <li>Partner with ML and backend engineers to define scalable interfaces and enable rapid iteration for model development and experimentation.</li> <li>Partner with our Data Platform and Data Infra teams to build our high quality data processing workflows.</li> <li>Contribute to internal platforms and tools that abstract complexity, improve developer productivity, and accelerate innovation.</li> <li>Be a tech lead and mentor junior engineers</li> <li>Self-organize and take ownership of projects throughout their full lifecycle.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>You Have:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>7+ years of work experienc ...
