In this role, you will provide management and support for a variety of litigation, disputes, and investigations, including regulatory, consumer, product liability, insurance, and intellectual property disputes. You will report to our Director, Litigation.</p> <p>Location: The position is seated at Roblox Headquarters in San Mateo, CA. Roblox’s mandatory in-office days are Tuesday through Thursday with optional in-office days on Monday and Friday. </p> <p><strong>You Will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with and manage outside litigation counsel</li> <li>Advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risks</li> <li>Coordinate and actively participate in internal discovery activities and subpoena responses</li> <li>Address pre-litigation disputes </li> <li>Assist with internal investigations</li> <li>Support Legal department and team related projects, as assigned</li> </ul> <p><strong>You Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years of litigation experience (law firm experience is required)</li> <li>Technology company experience preferred</li> <li>Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic organization preferred</li> <li>Membership in good standing with the California Bar (or other bar association with the ability to register as in-house counsel in California)</li> <li>Broad complex litigation experience, with emphasis in regulatory, consumer, products liability, multi-district litigations, and/or class actions </li> <li>Excellent judgment, discretion, and risk assessment</li> <li>Strong and effective drafting skills</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships</li> <li>Practical business acumen, driving pragmatic business-oriented solutions</li> <li>A highly approachable, collegial, and collaborative approach</li> <li>Accountable and proactive self-starter, comfortable working independently</li> <li>Superb organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once</li> </ul> <p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand.
