As a Senior Software Engineer on User Safety, you will be responsible for designing and building large scale systems for abuse reporting, a critical part of keeping Roblox safe. You will work on services with substantial scaling needs in the path of many critical user journeys, and you will feel a true sense of ownership and responsibility in thoughtfully and fairly protecting our users, while carefully balancing freedom and civility.<br><br></p> <p><strong>You Will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build large-scale services for intaking, enriching, routing, and decisioning abuse reports.</li> <li>Work closely with UX design, research, data science, and product managers to substantially improve the efficacy, scale, and trustworthiness of abuse reporting.</li> <li>Help evolve our moderation infrastructure to meet new safety and compliance requirements.</li> <li>Leverage ML to tackle difficult problems at scale.</li> <li>Work with a tightly-knit, high-performing, diverse, and energetic cross-functional product engineering team with a strong sense of camaraderie.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience with scalable infrastructure and distributed systems</li> <li>5+ years of experience in Golang/C++/C#/Java/etc.</li> <li>Experience with modern microservice architecture.</li> <li>Capability and willingness in being predominantly a product engineer but occasionally serve a platform role with internal partners.</li> <li>Interest with Safety systems.</li> <li>A growth mindset.</li> <li>Experience with the Trust Safety domain (preferred)</li> <li>Experience with AI/ML at scale (preferred) </li> </ul> <p><strong>You Are:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>An owner: </strong>Taking responsibility for not just your own work, but the work of your teammates, a ...
