<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.</span></p></div><p>This training program is designed to provide a transitioning service member with a comprehensive, hands-on experience in a civilian Security Operations Center. The program will leverage the fellow’s existing military cybersecurity knowledge and translate it to commercial tools, processes, and a corporate environment.</p>
<p>The goal is for the fellow to become a qualified Tier 2 SOC Analyst or Information Security Engineer, capable of in-depth incident investigation, threat hunting, and contributing to overall security posture of the organization and the workforce.</p>
<p><strong>You Will:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support Security Incidents, ensuring that any serious threats and impacts are understood, mitigated and learnt from with speed and professionalism</li>
<li>Conduct Investigations, digging into the context of situations and determining if a threat exists and taking action to prevent it</li>
<li>Collaborate cross-functionally with information security, legal, human resources, executive teams, external (developers customers) and the security community</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with other teams in security and engineering to support (and sometimes lead) high profile events or responses to vulnerabilities</li>
<li>Produce Security response procedures including, runbooks, IRPs, workflows and automations, as well as internal briefings</li>
<li>Threat Hunt for anomalous activity in our signals, determine if these outliers are threats or expected behavior</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>You Are:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>In alignment with the <a href="https://skillbridge.osd.mil/program-overview.htm">SkillBridge </a>program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
<ul>
<li>Have served at least 180 continuous days of active duty</li>
<li>Are within 180 days of separation or retirement from military service</li>
<li>Will receive an honorable discharge</li>
<li>Have completed the <a href="https://www.tapevents.mil/">Transition Assistance Program (TAP) </a></li>
<li>Additionally, written permission from the unit commander is needed before your start date.</li>
</ul>
