<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.</span></p></div><p>The Research Project Manager Intern position is a part of our Roblox 12-week summer internship program located in San Mateo, CA. As a<strong> Research Project Manager Intern,</strong> you will work alongside the Civility team to help Roblox provide a safe and civil platform for billions of users to create, play, and connect. You will spearhead a high-impact project: designing and piloting a <em>Voice of Civility (VoC) Program</em>. Over 12 weeks, you will design a repeatable research program that captures and analyzes the needs of our civility communities.</p>
<p>This isn't just about collecting feedback; it’s about translating the lived experiences of our most vital communities—teens, parents, and safety partners—into actionable insights. You will bridge the gap between sentiment, platform experience, external messaging, ensuring that "civility" is informed by those who use our platform most. </p>
<h3><strong>You Will:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Conduct Research: You will collect feedback through various channels, like interviews and surveys, to understand the voice of civility audiences, while mapping that feedback onto product and policy surfaces.</li>
<li>Analyze: Distill complex feedback into clear "Civility Themes" (e.g., Digital Loneliness, Parental Control Friction, etc.)</li>
<li>Create:<em> </em>Translate user feedback into actionable profiles or briefs for cross-functional teams.</li>
<li>Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with cross-functional teams, like Public Policy, Product Marketing (PMM), and Communications, to understand company goals, product flows, and communications, </li>
<li>Optimize Content Workflows: Manage the end-to-end development of content, ensuring all materials meet quality standard and civility goals.</li>
<li>Monitor Deliverables: Track action items and project milestones to ensure all project deadlines are met.</li>
<li>Produce a Final Strategic VoC Presentation: Deliver a final presentation on your findings to Civility Leadership and other cross-functional leads</li>

<li>A Solutions-Oriented Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on identifying efficiencies in complex workflows.</li>
<li>Excellent writing and verbal skills, with the ability to draft precise documentation and communicate clearly with stakeholders.</li>
<li>Analytical Research Background: Experience conducting research</li>
<li>Content Development Experience: Experience in content design, development, or creation, specifically for policy-related or educational materials.</li>
<li>Platform Passion and Knowledge: A strong understanding of online platforms, for example: common product features for chat, social features, and trust and safety flows, and site policy (e.g. Community Standards)</li>
