<p>We are seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to join our Legal team. This role will focus primarily on managing our commercial contracting function, negotiating, drafting, and managing a wide range of agreements supporting our business operations, as well as implementing processes and tools to increase efficiency and drive favorable outcomes. The ideal candidate will lead our commercial contracting function to its next phase of development, bringing strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a practical approach to managing legal risk in a fast-paced technology environment.</p>
<p><strong>What you'll do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS, technology licensing, vendor, marketing, data processing, and partnership contracts.</li>
<li>Advise internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Procurement) on deal structuring, contract interpretation, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines to improve consistency and efficiency.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including data protection, privacy, and information security obligations.</li>
<li>Optimize operations and workflows by implementing new processes and tools.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What you'll bring</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>J.D. degree from an accredited law school; active bar membership in Massachusetts.</li>
<li>2–5 years of relevant legal experience, including demonstrated experience negotiating SaaS, software, and other commercial contracts in technology-focused industries.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of contract law, intellectual property, data protection, and commercial risk allocation.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex legal concepts to non-lawyers.</li>
<li>A practical, business-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</li>
