<p>We're looking for a forward-thinking, experienced <strong>Director of Engineering </strong>to lead our team focused on building software solutions that accelerate our B2B dealer customers<strong>. </strong>This leader will have the opportunity to collaborate with a high-impact set of partners and stakeholders from across the business to develop and execute on our growing dealer-focused, data-rich product strategy. The ideal candidate is a leader who can balance the needs of our business today with the innovation required to stay ahead tomorrow, including the rapid evolution of and opportunities presented by AI. You'll play a critical role in enabling our business, fostering a high-performing team, and ensuring our dealers see us as a strategic partner, helping them to operate and grow the most successful business with a set of tools focused on solving their most important problems.</p>
<p><strong>What you'll do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Build a High-Performance Culture:</strong> Manage, mentor, and grow a multi-team engineering organization, fostering an environment of technical excellence, psychological safety, innovation, and rapid iteration.</li>
<li><strong>Strategic Collaboration:</strong> You’ll act as the primary technical partner to Product, Sales, Data, and multiple other functions. You’ll translate complex business goals into a robust technical roadmap.</li>
<li><strong>Leverage Technical Expertise:</strong> Drawing on your "been-there-done-that" experience, you'll provide guidance and architectural oversight to the team, acting as a catalyst for rich conversations and strong technical decisions. You'll be a trusted resource, helping to solve complex problems and ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and secure.</li>
<li><strong>Develop Strategic Vision:</strong> You'll play a critical role in developing and championing the long-term strategic roadmap for our Inventory pillar. This includes evaluating and incorporating emerging technologies, such as AI offerings, to enhance our capabilities. You'll partner with internal partners/stakeholders and external vendors to develop forward-looking solutions.</li>

<p><strong>What you'll bring</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Impactful Experience:</strong> 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a Director-level role or equivalent, managing multiple teams and managers.</li>
<li><strong>People Leadership:</strong> A passion for leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams. You know how to hire top talent and create an environment where they can thrive.</li>
