Come join us for the ride!</p></div><p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>The Manager Enterprise Applications will lead the FinTech team within the Enterprise Applications (EA) organization at CarGurus. This leader is accountable for driving the development, automation, and optimization of technology solutions that enable CarGurus’ business operations, with a focus on core systems supporting Finance. The role ensures process excellence, operational reliability, and proactive collaboration with Finance, Product, Data, Quality Assurance, Security, the broader Enterprise Applications team, and other business stakeholders to advance company objectives in these domains. </p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Model CarGurus’ people management expectations by providing feedback, championing inclusion, and supporting career development in alignment with leadership frameworks.</li> <li>Foster an inclusive and collaborative culture, ensuring professional growth for direct reports.</li> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop the FinTech teams as high-performing Agile units.</li> <li>Direct daily team operations, set clear objectives, and manage resources—including people, budgets, and timelines—to deliver on strategic business goals.</li> <li>Ensure effective delivery of multiple concurrent workstreams, achieving established deadlines and budgetary targets.</li> <li>Receive and prioritize objective-based assignments, determining scope and resource allocation across a diverse portfolio of ongoing projects.</li> <li>Collaborate directly with Finance and Sales partners to identify, automate, and optimize critical business processes through effective software solutions in partnership with Technical Product Managers and stakeholders.</li> <li>Analyze complex operational situations, leveraging data and domain expertise to address challenges and drive process improvements.</li> <li>Champion proactive collaboration between Enterprise Applications, IT, InfoSec, and business teams, ensuring solutions remain ahead of evolving company needs.</li> <li>Oversee application of best practices in software implementation, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and security for all supported platforms.</li> <li>Demonstrated proficiency in managing and optimizing core financial technology (FinTech) platforms that support financial operations, revenue management, and billing processes.</li> <li>Experience integrating and supporting CRM platforms</li> <li>Deep understanding of financial system architectures, industry tools, and regulatory considerations.</li> <li>Proven ability to build or scale solutions within financial business units, with a strong focus on both platform and process optimization.</li> <li>Strong understanding of accounting principles (including ASC 606), SOX compliance, and system audit ...
