Come join us for the ride!</p></div><p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Role overview</strong></span></p> <p>CarGurus is looking for a Product Manager, Decision to join our Consumer Product team. The Decision team owns a critical experience on the CarGurus marketplace—helping shoppers decide which car to buy and enabling them to confidently connect with dealers.</p> <p>In this role, you’ll focus on optimizing the end-to-end journey from listing or paid marketing entry point through lead submission, working closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Brand, Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Attribution. You’ll help evolve existing experiences and build new ones that increase conversion, improve decision confidence, and unlock future growth—while also contributing to broader innovation efforts, including GenAI-powered decision support and new ways for shoppers and dealers to connect.</p> <p>This role is ideal for a growth-minded product manager who thrives at the intersection of product, marketing, and experimentation, and who enjoys owning highly visible, high-impact surfaces with clear success metrics.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you'll do</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for core decision and conversion experiences, including high-intent listing and landing surfaces</li> <li>Optimize the shopper journey from acquisition to lead submission, partnering closely with Marketing and Performance teams to improve conversion efficiency and user value</li> <li>Lead experimentation and iteration across high-traffic surfaces, using A/B and multivariate testing, behavioral data, and funnel analysis to drive measurable gains in lead volume and quality</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Marketing, Brand, and Attribution to launch features that balance shopper trust, brand integrity, and performance outcomes</li> <li>Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across surfaces, channels, and entry points, including paid marketing traffic and SEM-driven landings</li> <li>Contribute to innovation initiatives on the Decision team, including exploring how GenAI can enhance vehicle understanding, comparison, and shopper-dealer connections</li> <li>Act as a strong advocate for the shopper, translating user needs, research, and data insights into clear product requirements and compelling narratives</li> <li>Clearly define success metrics, track performance, and communicate results and learnings to stakeholders and leadership</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What you'll bring</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of product management experience, ideally in consumer-facing, marketplace, e-commerce, or growth-oriented environments</li> <li>Demonstrated success owning and imp ...
