<p><strong>Corporate Accountant </strong></p> <p>About the team and role</p> <p>The Global Corporate Accounting team owns the close and critical process for ensuring the financial statements are timely ready for the SEC reporting team. Our partners primarily include FPA, Revenue Ops, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, and IT and we focus on delivering accurate, timely financials through scalable processes.</p> <p>We are looking for a Corporate Accountant to join our Global Accounting team. In this role, you will be a member of the financial close process and participate in ad hoc projects as they arise. You will work cross-functionally across the organization and solve problems on as needed basis. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting at our HQ in Palo Alto and is an in-office hybrid role.</p> <p> </p> <p>What you’ll do:</p> <ul> <li>Accounting close: Execute close activities for assigned areas, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses. Have an opportunity to acquire knowledge in various accounting.</li> <li>Compliance: Ensure work product is compliant with US GAAP and SOX.</li> <li>External audit: Participate in walkthroughs and in providing audit requests to auditors. </li> <li>Cross-functional: Collaborate with various team including global Corporate Accounting team, Financial Reporting, FPA, AP/Procurement, Payroll, Revenue Ops, and IT.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>We're looking for someone who has:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.</li> <li>2+ years of relevant experience; experience at Big 4 public accounting and/or high-growth public software/technology company is a plus.</li> <li>Understanding of US GAAP, close processes, and SOX.</li> <li>Experience in Excel/Google Sheets skills; comfortable working with large datasets and reconciliations.</li> <li>Familiarity with accounting tools (e.g., Netsuite, LeaseQuery, Coupa, BlackLine, FloQast) is a plus.</li> <li>Proactive, curious, strong communication skills, organized.</li> <li>Enjoys a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</li> <li>3 days a week in office per Rubrik’s in-office requirements.</li> </ul> <p><em>#LI-KY1</em></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location.
