Senior Director of Tax

<p>Squarespace is seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to serve as its Senior Director of Tax. You will report directly to our Chief Financial Officer and will guide our global tax structure including tax provision, tax planning and tax compliance. You will play a key role in strategic financial initiatives and lead the global tax team. You will be based out of our New York City headquarters.</p> <h2>You'll Get To…</h2> <ul> <li>Lead GAAP tax provision, tax reserves and related disclosures. Lead compliance (US Federal, US State and International), accounting for income taxes, technical research, process improvement, and internal controls</li> <li>Ensure compliance with US and international tax laws and regulations</li> <li>Create and execute a comprehensive tax strategy, assessing the tax impact of strategic initiatives, and driving tax decision-making</li> <li>Build the process and infrastructure that allows us to simulate global tax scenarios in real-time.
