Senior Game Designer

<p><em>Are you a game designer with solid international experience in creation and/or liveops? We are looking for a talent like you to join Gameloft Saigon! Our team of 20+ multicultural game designers are working on exciting projects, both independently and in co-development with other Gameloft studios around the world, involving famous IPs &#xa0;and a variety of game genres, including open-world adventure, racing, action, casual, educational kids’ games. Bringing both rich expertise and versatility, you will play a key role in our journey to build a strong game design team through hands-on collaboration, knowledge sharing, internal training, within our growing studio in the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City.</em></p><p><em>You will shape the game’s vision by&#xa0;defining design intentions, crafting gameplay systems, mechanics, levels, and combat design while collaborating with cross-functional game development teams to deliver engaging player experiences. Your daily work will include:</em></p><ul><li>Design and develop gameplay mechanics, levels, and systems ensuring that they are intuitive, easy to understand, and enjoyable.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate GD content and ensure alignment with project team's&#xa0;objectives.</li><li>Create and maintain game design documents, including concept pitches, feature specifications, and user interface designs.</li><li>Prototype and iterate on game concepts to refine gameplay mechanics and user interactions, considering feedback from internal teams and user testing sessions.</li><li>Balance gameplay difficulty and complexity to accommodate the cognitive and motor skills development of players as well as the game economy.</li><li>Adapt and modify game design elements based on feedbacks and technical constraints, maintaining flexibility throughout the design process.</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in game design to continually innovate and improve our products.</li></ul> <ul><li>More than 3 years’ experience in Game Design,&#xa0;along with a strong passion for video games and solid understanding of market trends and retro gaming.</li><li>Proven track record&#xa0;with a portfolio demonstrating successful and shipped projects.</li><li>Good understanding of the market and target audience of Mobile Video Games, AAA &amp; PC/Console.</li><li>Solid knowledge of core Game Design principles across aspects such as gameplay mechanics, systems, UI/UX and player progression.
