You will serve as Vercel’s subject matter expert for Workday integrations, owning the architecture, design, and long-term scalability of our HR systems ecosystem. You’ll partner closely with People, Finance, IT, and Engineering teams to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable integration solutions that support our growing global workforce. You will report to the Director of People Operations, Infrastructure Services and will be located remote or hybrid (San Francisco or New York).</p> <p>If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.</p> <h2>What You Will Do:</h2> <ul> <li>Design, build and implement Workday integrations across HR and third-party systems.</li> <li>Partner with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into integration specifications, field mappings, and technical designs.</li> <li>Develop and execute test plans to ensure integrations meet functional and performance requirements.</li> <li>Provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of integrations.</li> <li>Contribute to integration best practices, ensuring solutions meet security and data privacy standards.</li> <li>Support scalable solutions that enable Vercel’s continued growth.</li> <li>Build automated monitoring or alerting solutions to proactively manage integration health.</li> <li>Own the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of Workday integrations across HR and third-party systems.</li> <li>Define and enforce integration standards, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.</li> <li>Lead complex cross-functional integration initiatives spanning People, Finance, IT, and Engineering.</li> <li>Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, field mappings, and integration specifications.</li> <li>Establish and evolve testing, monitoring, and reliability practices for integration health.</li> <li>Serve as the primary escalation point for complex integration issues and architectural decisions.</li> </ul> <h2>About You:</h2> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience building Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect (PICOF, PECI, CCW, CCB), Advanced Report Writer, and APIs.</li> <li>Experience working with XML/XSLT, calculated fields, custom fields, and BIRT reporting.</li> <li>Experience configuring Workday Business Process Framework and Workday security (including Configurable Security).</li> <li>Experience delivering Workday integration projects across HR and enterprise systems.</li> <li>Ability to diagnose and resolve integration issues across complex system environments.</li> <li>6+ years of hands-on experience building and architecting Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect (PICOF, PECI, CCW, CCB), Advanced Report Writer, and APIs.</li> <li>Strong expertise in XML/XSLT, calculated fields, custom fields, and BIRT reporting.</li> <li>Deep experience configuring Workday Business P ...
