<p>Vercel is seeking a Vercel Development Representative to help bring the next wave of innovative companies onto the Vercel platform. This role is ideal for individuals who are curious about web technologies, energized by working closely with startup founders and early-stage teams, and eager to launch their career in technical sales at one of the world’s leading developer tools companies.</p>
<p>As a Vercel Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in connecting with engineering and product leaders at fast-growing companies, educating them on how Vercel can help their teams ship faster and build better web experiences. You’ll work closely with Account Executives to identify, qualify, and nurture opportunities within the Startups segment — organizations that are scaling quickly and ready to invest in performance and developer experience.</p>
<p>This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll learn directly from world-class sales and product leaders, gain exposure to the SaaS sales cycle, and build a strong foundation for a career in go-to-market at Vercel.</p>
<p>If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, Austin, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. <h2>What You Will Do:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Identify and engage high-potential companies that could benefit from Vercel’s platform</li>
<li>Research prospects and tailor outreach to engineering, product, and marketing leaders</li>
<li>Generate outbound opportunities through personalized outreach</li>
<li>Partner with Account Executives to build pipeline and drive adoption in the Startups segment</li>
<li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to refine messaging and improve outreach effectiveness</li>
</ul>
<h2>About You:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Passion for web development and staying current with the latest trends and technologies</li>
<li>Familiar with the Startups culture interested in working directly with founders</li>
<li>1+ years of experience in a technical, sales, or customer support role for a technical product</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills — ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail</li>
<li>Self-motivated and able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams</li>
</ul>
<h2>Bonus If You Have Experience With:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Background in computer science, web development, or a related technical field</li>
<li>Vercel, Next.js, or any other technical background or understanding</li>
<li>Salesforce, Outreach, or similar</li>
<li>Experience as an SDR or other similar relevant positions</li>
