We value curiosity, communication, collaboration, a customer focused mindset and a drive for results.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a <strong>Product Intern</strong> to join our team of Engineers, Designers, Datascientists and Product managers working to develop novel tools services for bioprocessing. </p> <p>The Product Intern role is a dynamic blend of business, technology, and design. You will be instrumental in defining both "the what" and "the why" of our product—this is not merely a shadowing position. Your work will involve tight collaboration with engineers, designers, and key stakeholders to address genuine user challenges and achieve demonstrable business success.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Learn about fermentation, cell culture, and biotechnology.</li> <li>Conduct interviews and surveys to understand customer pain points and translate them into actionable insights.</li> <li>Perform competitive benchmarking to identify gaps in our current offering and opportunities for innovation.</li> <li>Use tools like [e.g., Mixpanel] to analyze user behavior and track the success of specific features.</li> <li>Assist in defining product requirements (PRDs) and creating wireframes or user flows.</li> <li>Partner with engineering and design squads to manage the backlog, participate in daily stand-ups, and ensure timely delivery of features.</li> <li>Present your findings and project outcomes to the broader product team and leadership at the end of your internship.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field preferred)</li> <li>Enjoy digging into data to find the "story" behind the numbers.</li> <li>Articulate complex ideas clearly, whether in a written PRD or a verbal presentation.</li> <li>Deep desire to understand the user’s experience and solve their problems.</li> <li>Understand product development life cycle and be comfortable talking to engineers designers. </li> <li>Self-starter who takes initiative with ability to work in a small, collaborative team.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in a startup environment or a previous tech internship.</li> <li>Experience with tools like Jira, Linear, Figma.</li> <li>A "side project" (e.g., an app you built, a blog you run, or a community you managed).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Our values guide our actions: Collaborate for exceptional results, Innovate with Purpose, Earn our customer’s business everyday. </li> <li>Regular 1:1s with experienced PMs to guide your <strong>career growth</strong>.</li> <li>We ship fast.
