<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist<br><strong>Banding:</strong> Band 6/7<br><strong>Location:</strong> London, Greater London<br><strong>Start:</strong> ASAP<br><strong>Duration:</strong> 3 months with potential for extension<br><strong>Rate:</strong> £24 - £34 per hour<br><strong>Working hours:</strong> Full-time or Part-time</p> <p>We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist to join our esteemed client in London. This role requires working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy to adult patients in acute settings. Your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and effectiveness of treatment plans, which are critical for patient communication and overall well-being.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>In this role, you will conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, develop and implement tailored treatment plans, and monitor patient progress. You will demonstrate specialist clinical expertise in the assessment, differential diagnosis, treatment, and management of dysphagia and communication in adult acute patients. You will provide appropriate specialist assessment, intervention, and evaluation of outcomes, and demonstrate specialist knowledge in clinical areas underpinned by current evidence-based practice and outcome measures. Additionally, you will collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, maintain meticulous records and documentation, and ensure strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>HCPC registration.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field.</li> <li>Extensive experience in adult acute speech and language therapy.</li> <li>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li> <li>Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.</li> <li>Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Work with Pulse?</strong></p> <p>From the moment you register with us, our focus is entirely on you.
