<p><strong>Role: Locum Anatomical Pathology Technician</strong><br><strong>Location:</strong> East Yorkshire<br><strong>Start Date: </strong>ASAP<br><strong>Duration: </strong>Ongoing<br><strong>Hours:</strong> Full-time<br><strong>Rate:</strong> £25 - £30 per hour</p>
<p>We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Anatomical Pathology Technician to join our team in East Yorkshire. This role is ideal for a professional looking to contribute to a dynamic and supportive environment.</p>
<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities: </u></strong></p>
<p>You will perform routine and specialized histological techniques. You will prepare and process tissue samples for microscopic examination. You will assist pathologists with autopsies and other diagnostic procedures. You will maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. You will accurately record and manage data.</p>
<p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Education and Qualifications:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Must be a qualified Anatomical Pathology Technician with a Level 3 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology.</li>
<li>Emotional resilience and maturity to handle sensitive situations.</li>
<li>Previous experience in a similar role.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><strong>Skills and Knowledge:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Good communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with bereaved families.</li>
<li>Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively.</li>
<li>Knowledge of health and safety protocols in handling deceased individuals.</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li>
</ul>
