<p data-start="473" data-end="848">We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate <strong data-start="533" data-end="596">Paediatric Neonatal Dysphagia Speech and Language Therapist</strong> to join a specialist healthcare service in the North West of England. This role focuses on supporting neonates and infants with complex feeding and swallowing difficulties, delivering high-quality, evidence-based dysphagia assessment and intervention.</p>
<p data-start="850" data-end="1201">This opportunity is suitable for an experienced Band 6 therapist looking to develop specialist skills, or a Band 7 clinician with established expertise in neonatal and infant feeding. You will work closely within a multidisciplinary team to support some of the most vulnerable patients and their families, ensuring safe and effective feeding outcomes.</p>

<h3 data-start="1208" data-end="1232">Key Responsibilities</h3>
<p data-start="1233" data-end="1256">In this role, you will:</p>
<ul data-start="1257" data-end="1923">
<li data-start="1257" data-end="1381">
<p data-start="1259" data-end="1381">Assess, diagnose, and manage <strong data-start="1288" data-end="1325">neonatal and paediatric dysphagia</strong>, including complex feeding and swallowing difficulties.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1382" data-end="1484">
<p data-start="1384" data-end="1484">Deliver specialist <strong data-start="1403" data-end="1447">infant feeding and dysphagia assessments</strong> in neonatal and paediatric settings.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1485" data-end="1614">
<p data-start="1487" data-end="1614">Develop and implement individualised treatment and management plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1615" data-end="1707">
<p data-start="1617" data-end="1707">Provide clinical advice, training, and support to colleagues and carers where appropriate.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1708" data-end="1827">
<p data-start="1710" data-end="1827">Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards.</p>
</li>
<li data-start="1828" data-end="1923">
<p data-start="1830" data-end="1923">Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and service development initiatives.</p>

<h3 data-start="1930" data-end="1963">Qualifications and Experience</h3>
<p data-start="1964" data-end="2010">To be considered for this role, you must have:</p>
<ul data-start="2011" data-end="2533">
<li data-start="2011" data-end="2084">
<p data-start="2013" data-end="2084">A recognised <strong data-start="2026" data-end="2067">degree in Speech and Language Therapy</strong> (or equivalent).</p>
</li>
<li data-start="2085" data-end="2207">
<p data-start="2087" data-end="2207"><strong data-start="2087" data-end="2108">HCPC registration</strong> and eligibility for membership of the <strong data-start="2147" data-end="2206">Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)</strong>.</p>
