This nurturing and specialist educational environment supports children and young people aged <strong data-start="652" data-end="669">6 to 21 years</strong> with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN).</p> <p data-start="722" data-end="933">You will provide high-quality, individualised Speech and Language Therapy interventions within a setting that prioritises personalised learning, therapeutic support, and close multi-disciplinary collaboration.</p> <p data-start="935" data-end="1203">This role is ideal for an experienced Band 6/7 therapist who is confident working autonomously while also supporting junior colleagues. You will provide direct 1:1 therapy as well as clinical guidance to <strong data-start="1139" data-end="1184">two Band 5 Speech and Language Therapists</strong> within the school.</p> <hr data-start="1205" data-end="1208"> <h2 data-start="1210" data-end="1239"><strong data-start="1213" data-end="1237">Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <p data-start="1240" data-end="1265">In this role, you will:</p> <ul data-start="1266" data-end="1929"> <li data-start="1266" data-end="1431"> <p data-start="1268" data-end="1431">Deliver specialist assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children and young people with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and associated SEN.</p> </li> <li data-start="1432" data-end="1522"> <p data-start="1434" data-end="1522">Provide <strong data-start="1442" data-end="1466">1:1 therapy sessions</strong> tailored to the individual needs of pupils aged 6–21.</p> </li> <li data-start="1523" data-end="1612"> <p data-start="1525" data-end="1612">Offer <strong data-start="1531" data-end="1578">clinical supervision, support, and guidance</strong> to Band 5 SLTs within the team.</p> </li> <li data-start="1613" data-end="1716"> <p data-start="1615" data-end="1716">Work closely with teaching and multi-disciplinary staff to ensure integrated and effective support.</p> </li> <li data-start="1717" data-end="1835"> <p data-start="1719" data-end="1835">Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional and service standards.</p> </li> <li data-start="1836" data-end="1929"> <p data-start="1838" data-end="1929">Contribute to review meetings, planning sessions, and wider school development discussions.</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="1931" data-end="1934"> <h2 data-start="1936" data-end="1974"><strong data-start="1939" data-end="1972">Qualifications and Experience</strong></h2> <p data-start="1975" data-end="2023">To be considered for this role, you must have:</p> <ul data-start="2024" data-end="2441"> <li data-start="2024" data-end="2095"> <p data-start="2026" data-end="2095">A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).</p> </li> <li data-start="2096" data-end="2212"> <p data-start="2098" data-end="2212">HCPC r ...
