These educational settings support children and young adults with a broad range of learning disabilities, including autism, physical disabilities, and sensory needs.</p> <p data-start="828" data-end="1186">In this role, you will provide specialist assessment, intervention, and support to help students develop essential communication skills and access their learning environment more effectively. You’ll work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team across both school sites, delivering a mix of 1:1 therapy, group sessions, and classroom-based support.</p> <p data-start="1188" data-end="1349">This position is ideal for a Band 6 or Band 7 therapist with a strong background in paediatrics, special educational needs (SEN), and autism spectrum conditions.</p> <hr data-start="1351" data-end="1354"> <h3 data-start="1356" data-end="1386"><strong data-start="1360" data-end="1384">Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <p data-start="1387" data-end="1410">In this role, you will:</p> <ul data-start="1411" data-end="2141"> <li data-start="1411" data-end="1593"> <p data-start="1413" data-end="1593">Deliver specialist speech and language therapy services to children and young people with a range of complex needs including autism, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.</p> </li> <li data-start="1594" data-end="1673"> <p data-start="1596" data-end="1673">Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop individualised therapy plans.</p> </li> <li data-start="1674" data-end="1805"> <p data-start="1676" data-end="1805">Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to support communication across educational and home settings.</p> </li> <li data-start="1806" data-end="1922"> <p data-start="1808" data-end="1922">Provide input in multidisciplinary meetings, annual reviews, and Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes.</p> </li> <li data-start="1923" data-end="2014"> <p data-start="1925" data-end="2014">Document therapy goals, progress, and outcomes in line with clinical and legal standards.</p> </li> <li data-start="2015" data-end="2141"> <p data-start="2017" data-end="2141">Provide advice, strategies, and resources to support staff in embedding communication approaches into daily school routines.</p> </li> </ul> <hr data-start="2143" data-end="2146"> <h3 data-start="2148" data-end="2187"><strong data-start="2152" data-end="2185">Qualifications and Experience</strong></h3> <p data-start="2188" data-end="2234">To be considered for this role, you must have:</p> <ul data-start="2235" data-end="2697"> <li data-start="2235" data-end="2304"> <p data-start="2237" data-end="2304">A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).</p> </li> <li data-start="2305" data-end="2333"> <p data-start="2307" data-end="2333">Cur ...
