<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Locum Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist</p> <p><strong>Banding:</strong> Band 6 (AHP Grade)</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Wood End Centre, Judge Heath Lane, Hayes, UB3</p> <p><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP</p> <p><strong>Duration:</strong> 12 weeks</p> <p><strong>Working Hours:</strong> 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday</p> <p><strong>Rate:</strong> Competitive, dependent on experience</p> <p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p> <p>Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join the team at Wood End Centre in Hayes. This locum opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive community setting, delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to a varied caseload.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide assessment and intervention for patients with communication and swallowing difficulties</li> <li>Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care</li> <li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation</li> <li>Contribute to service development and uphold best practice standards</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>HCPC registration (required)</li> <li>RCSLT membership (preferred)</li> <li>NHS experience (beneficial but not essential)</li> <li>Car owner and driver (desirable but not essential)</li> <li>Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Pulse?</strong></p> <p>At Pulse, we put you first.
