<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Locum Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist</p> <p><strong>Banding:</strong> Band 6 / 7</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Hayes</p> <p><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP</p> <p><strong>Duration:</strong> Depending on Banding</p> <p><strong>Working Hours:</strong> 30 hours per week</p> <p><strong>Rate:</strong> Competitive, dependent on experience</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p> <p>Pulse is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join a supportive team based in Hayes. This locum role involves providing specialist speech and language therapy services to children across schools in the boroughs surrounding Hillingdon.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessments and interventions in school settings, requiring travel across the local area.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide assessment, treatment, and management of children with speech, language, and communication needs</li> <li>Deliver therapy sessions in schools across Hillingdon and surrounding boroughs</li> <li>Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards</li> <li>Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes</li> <li>Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required)</li> <li>HCPC registration (required)</li> <li>Experience working with paediatric caseloads in educational settings</li> <li>Must be a car driver with access to a vehicle for school visits</li> <li>Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Pulse?</strong></p> <p>At Pulse, we put you first.
