<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist</p> <p><strong>Banding:</strong> Band 6/7</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Leeds</p> <p><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP</p> <p><strong>Working Hours:</strong> Full-time or Part-time</p> <p><strong>Rate:</strong> £24.00–£31.00 per hour (dependent on experience)</p> <p><strong>Contract Type:</strong> Locum</p> <p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p> <p>Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist to support services across Leeds. This locum role is ideal for clinicians looking to make an impact by helping reduce long waiting lists and delivering face-to-face care in schools and clinics.</p> <p>The caseload will primarily involve mainstream paediatric work, with opportunities to contribute to specialist areas depending on your skills and experience.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide assessment, treatment, and management of children with speech, language, and communication needs</li> <li>Deliver therapy sessions in schools and clinic settings across Leeds</li> <li>Support efforts to reduce waiting times through timely and effective intervention</li> <li>Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards</li> <li>Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support child development</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required)</li> <li>HCPC registration (required)</li> <li>Experience working with paediatric caseloads in community or educational settings</li> <li>Ability to work face-to-face across multiple locations in Leeds</li> <li>Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills</li> <li>Flexibility to contribute to specialist areas if applicable</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Pulse?</strong></p> <p>At Pulse, we put you first.
