<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist – Paediatrics</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Conwy Child Development Centre, Llandudno (Ysbyty Glan Clwyd)</p> <p><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP</p> <p><strong>Working Hours:</strong> Full-time</p> <p><strong>Contract Type:</strong> Locum (Fixed-term maternity leave cover)</p> <p><strong>Shift Pattern:</strong> Face-to-face role within standard working hours</p> <p><strong>Speciality:</strong> Paediatric Communication and Dysphagia</p> <p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p> <p>Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team at the Conwy Child Development Centre in Llandudno, part of Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. This locum position is a fixed-term maternity leave cover, offering a rewarding opportunity to work face-to-face with children presenting with communication and dysphagia needs.</p> <p>The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting paediatric patients through collaborative care within a well-established MDT.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide specialist assessment and intervention for children with communication and swallowing difficulties</li> <li>Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic care plans</li> <li>Deliver face-to-face therapy sessions in a child development centre setting</li> <li>Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development</li> <li>Support families and caregivers with tailored advice and resources</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required)</li> <li>HCPC registration (required)</li> <li>Experience in paediatric communication and dysphagia</li> <li>Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work effectively within an MDT environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Pulse?</strong></p> <p>At Pulse, we put you first.
