This fixed-term role provides maternity leave cover and is delivered fully face-to-face within a highly supportive MDT environment.</p> <p data-start="741" data-end="1072">You will work with children presenting with a range of communication needs and dysphagia, contributing your clinical expertise to assessments, interventions, and collaborative planning. This opportunity is ideal for a Band 6 or Band 7 clinician looking to further develop specialist paediatric skills in a well-established service.</p> <hr data-start="1074" data-end="1077"> <h2 data-start="1079" data-end="1108"><strong data-start="1082" data-end="1106">Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <p data-start="1109" data-end="1655">In this role, you will:<br data-start="1132" data-end="1135">• Support the assessment, diagnosis, and management of children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and dysphagia within the Child Development Centre.<br data-start="1302" data-end="1305">• Deliver evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each child’s developmental needs.<br data-start="1389" data-end="1392">• Work collaboratively within an experienced multidisciplinary team.<br data-start="1460" data-end="1463">• Maintain accurate, professional clinical records in line with service and HCPC standards.<br data-start="1554" data-end="1557">• Contribute to MDT meetings, case discussions, and reviews to support integrated care planning.</p> <hr data-start="1657" data-end="1660"> <h2 data-start="1662" data-end="1700"><strong data-start="1665" data-end="1698">Qualifications and Experience</strong></h2> <p data-start="1701" data-end="2153">To be considered for this role, you must have:<br data-start="1747" data-end="1750">• A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).<br data-start="1819" data-end="1822">• HCPC registration and eligibility for RCSLT membership.<br data-start="1879" data-end="1882">• Clinical experience within paediatrics, including communication and dysphagia.<br data-start="1962" data-end="1965">• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an MDT setting.<br data-start="2069" data-end="2072">• A reflective, proactive approach to service delivery and professional growth.</p> <hr data-start="2155" data-end="2158"> <h2 data-start="2160" data-end="2186"><strong data-start="2163" data-end="2184">Why Choose Pulse?</strong></h2> <p data-start="2187" data-end="2522">From the moment you register with Pulse, our focus is entirely on you.
