We believe everyone should have the tools to build wealth, whether they're seasoned investors or just starting out. Our team is building innovative products and features that are changing the way people think about money. If you're a talented, driven individual who's passionate about technology and finance, we want to hear from you.</p> <p>On our team, you will be in the middle of it all – implementing functionality, architecting our system, squashing bugs, maintaining the health of our code, and continually growing as an engineer. The ideal candidate is both forward-thinking and hands-on, has a strong sense of ownership and drive for delivery, and is a good mentor and co-worker. At SoFi, we pride ourselves on the collaboration between Product, Design, and Engineering, so you will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through building, deploying, and continual improvement and evolution.</p> <p>SoFi is now the first national bank to offer open access to its stablecoin, SoFiUSD, and stablecoin infrastructure, bringing bank-grade oversight and reliability to companies looking to integrate stablecoin products and services. With SoFiUSD on a public, permissionless blockchain, partners can move funds around the clock with near-instant settlement at fractional-cent pricing. This enables them to manage liquidity with more confidence and deliver faster and more transparent services to their customers. SoFiUSD will also be available soon to all SoFi members.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Produce well-designed, scalable, and reusable code on schedule.</li> <li>Independently design and build large features, breaking work into subtasks where necessary.</li> <li>Maintain a high bar in code and design reviews, following modern mobile development practices.</li> <li>Drive communication across the development team and with other stakeholders.</li> <li>Collaborate across functions and teams to reduce ambiguity and keep projects on track.</li> <li>Track project performance against defined milestones/goals.</li> <li>Mentor junior engineers throughout the organization.</li> <li>Create and improve technical documentation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree (ideally in a technical field), but we understand great engineers come from a variety of backgrounds; we will also consider relevant work experience.</li> <li>5+ years of web programming experience (React strongly preferred).</li> <li>Familiarity with Agile-based project development in a microservices environment.</li> <li>Experience with designing and consuming backend APIs for web applications.</li> <li>Test-driven development skills.</li> <li>Passion for solving complex problems.</li> <li>Strong sense of responsibility; driving a project from inception to completion.</li> <li>Affinity for solving problems and shipping impactful features, not polishing perfect code or architecture.</li> <li>Experience working in a collabo ...
