Job Summary: The Director of People Operations will lead all People Operations functions at Drata, owning the programs, systems, and processes that power the employee experience from onboarding through offboarding. This leader will build scalable infrastructure, ensure operational excellence, and partner closely with Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, Total Rewards, IT, Finance, and Legal to enable a best-in-class People organization. This is a highly visible, strategic role designed for someone who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys optimizing complex systems, driving data integrity, automating workflows, and elevating employee experience at scale. What you’ll do: People Operations Strategy & Leadership - Develop and execute a People Operations roadmap that supports Drata’s rapid scaling and aligns with our mission to simplify trust. - Lead a high-performing People Ops team across functions: HRIS, compliance, lifecycle, and processes. - Serve as a strategic partner to the Head of People and executive team on organizational design, workforce planning, and ways to operationalize “Drata Speed.” Systems, Data & Process Optimization - Own and maintain HRIS (e.g., Workday), ensuring data integrity, integration with other platforms, and automation. - Optimize recruiting workflows, onboarding, internal mobility, promotions, performance cycles, and offboarding — preempting friction points. - Build and manage People analytics dashboards to deliver insights ...
