Role Overview The Paid Media Executive position requires collaboration within an integrated agency team to execute audience-led paid media campaigns and strategies across social platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure campaigns are set up and managed to a high standard, report results clearly with actionable recommendations, and present with confidence. Key Responsibilities Implement, manage and optimise paid media campaigns across self-serve platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Snapchat, TikTok and other emerging platforms. Understand client goals and translate them into effective paid media campaign setups. Maintain and optimise client campaigns to maximise performance against agreed KPIs through data-driven decisions. Brainstorm and research audience and targeting strategies for specific campaigns. Serve as a day-to-day contact for internal account teams and, when appropriate, external vendors; address account team, vendor and client issues thoughtfully and effectively. Track the operational performance of multiple accounts, ensuring quality of work, deadline adherence and budget control. Analyse and report on campaign performance on a regular (daily/weekly/monthly) and ad-hoc basis, providing clear insights and recommendations. Stay abreast of platform updates and industry news (e.g. key social media platform updates). Collaborate closely with account teams, strategy and analytics teams to ensure campaigns are cohesive and aligned to overall communication objectives. Basic Qualifications Approximately 1–2 years of relevant experience in planning and buying paid social and/or digital media (agency or in-house). Proven track record of analysing paid media performance and developing and implementing optimisation recommendations. Strong interpersonal, organisational, written and verbal communication skills. Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint (comfortable building reports and presentations). Ability to adapt to new conditions, deadlines and assignments, and to manage multiple small to mid-sized projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Media or a related field from an accredited college or university. Self-starter, energised by problem-solving, who excels in a collaborative team environment and proactively offers suggestions to build, shape and improve processes. Strong analytical abilities and comfort working with data to inform decisions. Understanding of programmatic, paid search and SEO fundamentals is a plus. Experience with Google tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager, Looker Studio and Search Console is a plus.
