<p>Reddit’s Communications team tells our story inside and out. We align employees through internal rhythms while also informing the public with external programs across corporate, policy and safety, product, consumer, ads business, and executive communications.<strong><em> </em></strong>As the<strong> Product Communications Lead, Global</strong> you will primarily be responsible for helping develop and drive communication strategies globally that support product and tech narratives aimed at increasing awareness for Reddit’s technology and conveying the value of product features to consumers. You will, at times, also work closely with other members of the communications team (e.g., consumer, corporate, policy, ads business) as well as collaborate with key stakeholders from the product, marketing and community teams on cross-functional efforts. </p>
<p>The role will sit within Global Consumer and Product Communications, a team focused on growing awareness and affinity for Reddit and amplifying product narratives in the media.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with the product and tech teams and key stakeholders to develop global product comms strategies.</li>
<li>Highlight product features in the media at launch and beyond, highlighting use cases, success stories, and product trends to convey the value of Reddit’s features to broader audiences </li>
<li>Develop thought-leadership strategy, including speaking opportunities, bylines, and industry commentary, to amplify Reddit’s innovation and product evolution on a broader industry level.</li>
<li>Work with cross-functional teams and other comms members to amplify product narratives in markets outside of the US. </li>
<li>Conduct media relations activities as needed on a global level, including reporter meetings, pitch development, and media outreach.</li>
<li>Develop press materials as needed, i.e., media lists, corporate blog posts, reporter education tools, etc. </li>
<li>Collect and analyze quantitative data sets, converting them into newsworthy narratives for storytelling purposes. </li>
<li>Help manage media inbounds related to product and tech inquiries</li>
<li>Work closely with the community team to assist with communications related to help center articles, Reddit-owned posts, and more. </li>

<p><strong>What We Expect From You:</strong></p>

<li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience</li>
