We are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to explore uncharted waters and contribute to our innovative projects.</p></div><h2><strong>Position Overview</strong></h2> <p data-start="1072" data-end="1397">The Senior Accountant will serve as a key accounting resource within Skild AI’s finance function. This is a hands-on, full-cycle accounting role requiring ownership of day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, payroll accounting, and general ledger management.</p> <p data-start="1399" data-end="1712">You will be responsible for preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end and year-end close, and ensuring financial records are accurate and audit-ready. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, operates independently, and collaborates effectively across teams and time zones.</p> <h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li data-start="251" data-end="417">Own full-cycle accounting operations for the India subsidiary, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and payroll accounting in QuickBooks</li> <li data-start="420" data-end="621">Process vendor invoices end-to-end (coding, approvals, payment execution), maintain vendor master data, reconcile vendor statements, and manage weekly payment runs in compliance with company policies</li> <li data-start="624" data-end="811">Generate and issue customer invoices per contractual terms, apply cash receipts, maintain the AR subledger, reconcile AR aging weekly, and proactively manage collections and escalations</li> <li data-start="814" data-end="949">Coordinate with the US Controller on revenue recognition under ASC 606 and ensure accurate contract documentation and billing records</li> <li data-start="952" data-end="1054">Monitor key working capital metrics (e.g., AR aging, DSO) and escalate trends or risks to management</li> <li data-start="1057" data-end="1206">Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepayments, depreciation, intercompany transactions) and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations</li> <li data-start="1209" data-end="1363">Lead month-end and quarter-end close for the India entity, delivering accurate financials, variance analysis, and reporting to the US Controller and CFO</li> <li data-start="1366" data-end="1503">Maintain a clean, well-documented, and audit-ready general ledger in accordance with US GAAP and applicable Indian accounting standards</li> <li data-start="1506" data-end="1704">Process and reconcile monthly payroll entries in coordination with the India payroll provider, ensuring accuracy of statutory deductions, benefits, and accruals (bonus, leave encashment, gratuity)</li> <li data-start="1707" data-end="1857">Support statutory compliance activities including TDS filings, GST reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and coordination with tax advisors</li> <li data-start="1860" data-end="1960">Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries</li> <li data-start="1963" data-end="2088">Serve as QuickBooks administrator for the India entity, maintaining system integrity, chart of accounts, and master records</li> <li data-start="2091" data-end="2204">Identify and implement process improvements and support system enhancements or migrations as the ...
