Job Description

Job Title: Production Medical Coder Schedule: • Full-time • Monday to Friday • Mountain Time schedule required initially to ensure alignment, oversight, and adjust for daylight savings Responsibilities: • Perform daily professional coding focusing on Evaluation & Management (E/M), office-based and procedural services • Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes adhering to CMS, NCCI, payer-specific guidelines, and specialty-specific rules • Apply appropriate modifiers (25, 59, LT, RT, etc.) • Enter finalized surgical and graft codes into AdvancedMD (AMD) • Maintain productivity and accuracy benchmarks • Issue written provider queries for missing or unclear documentation • Adjust E/M levels with proper notation • Escalate repeated documentation issues to Coding Manager • Participate in audits and feedback processes Qualifications: • Active AAPC or AHIMA certification (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) — non-negotiable • Strong written English skills for provider queries and documentation • Ability to code independently with minimal rework • Exposure to US healthcare compliance standards • Minimum 2–3 years of professional E/M production coding experience; flexibility depending on specialty and experience depth Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with AdvancedMD (AMD) for faster onboarding • Experience in priority specialties: Podiatry (highest priority), Vascular, Pain Management, Wound Care, Family Practice • Experience working in multi-provider or multi-location environments • Strong EHR background (any EHR acceptable if experienced; AMD preferred) Additional Expectations: • Depth in coding experience relevant to required specialties; inpatient or niche area experience considered only if closely aligned • Exceptional written English proficiency; verbal English advantageous but not critical • Soft skills include acceptance of constructive feedback, attention to detail, ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment, strong work ethic, and independence This role supports revenue integrity with high-volume, accurate coding, provider queries, and timely resolution of coding edits while working independently under productivity, quality, and turnaround-time targets. #SolvoGlobal #LI-PROMOTED #LI-Remote
