The Business Development organization plays a critical role in building the foundation of our sales pipeline and developing the next generation of sales talent. As a Manager, Business Development, you will lead a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) responsible for generating high-quality opportunities across a defined segment where the team will be balancing both inbound and outbound motions to ensure scalable, sustainable growth. This is a key leadership role that combines coaching, process optimization, and collaboration across go-to-market functions. You’ll empower your team to generate pipeline, refine outreach strategies, and develop the skills needed to progress into future sales roles; contributing directly to the growth and long-term success of the sales organization. Reporting into the Director of Business Development, this role is a hybrid role based in Austin, Texas Join us and play a pivotal role in driving revenue generation, nurturing sales talent, and shaping how we connect with prospects and customers. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - 4+ years of experience in SaaS, with proven success leading or scaling BDR/SDR teams, or experience progressing from a BDR/SDR role into closing and leadership. - Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering accountability and continuous growth. Strong results orientation with a focus on achieving targets, driving pipeline generation, and delivering measurable outcomes. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction and constructive feedback. - Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong partnerships across Sales, Marketing, and other GTM teams. Growth mindset and curiosity, with a desire for continuous learning and adaptation to evolving market trends. - Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with sales tools and technologies including Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT - Lead and oversee both inbound and outbound lead generation efforts, ensuring a balanced and strategic approach to building a strong sales pipeline. - Coach, develop, and inspire a team of BDRs to achieve and exceed targets, while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. - Build and maintain a talent pipeline by identifying and developing high-potential BDRs for future roles within the sales organization. - Continuously assess and optimize processes for lead generation, qualification, and hand ...
