DevSecOps Engineer

<p>As a DevSecOps Engineer in Wix’s Internal Platform Engineering team (IPE), you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring Wix’s infrastructure and applications are resilient, scalable, and secure.&#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>In your day-to-day, you will:</p><ul><li><p>Build and set up infrastructure for various internal uses using IaC (Terraform, Terragrunt)</p></li><li><p>Automate and improve development, security, and CI/CD processes</p></li><li><p>Work with cutting-edge technologies to enhance Wix infrastructure and security</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain multi-K8s environments and microservices (using Helm Charts)</p></li><li><p>Provide AI-based solutions for automation and monitoring resilience</p></li></ul><p>**</p><p>At Wix, we believe our best work happens together. Flexibility remains a core value at Wix and special requests are handled thoughtfully at the team level.</p> <ul><li><p>3+ years of experience</p></li><li><p>In-depth understanding of Kubernetes and Docker (GKE/EKS) and Helm</p></li><li><p>Production experience on Linux-based infrastructure</p></li><li><p>Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) managed by infrastructure as code tools like Terraform/Terragrunt</p></li><li><p>Experience and understanding of CI/CD methodology and version control (Git, GitOps)</p></li><li><p>Development experience in Python. JavaScript or TypeScript – an advantage</p></li><li><p>Strong security foundations, including web application vulnerabilities, authentication protocols, and secret management</p></li><li><p>Strong networking foundations and network security – an advantage</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</p></li></ul> <p>We’re Wix’s Internal Platform Engineering team. We use cutting-edge technologies such as OPA, Terraform, Kubernetes, Istio, and Argo to solve complex problems related to distributed systems. We’re responsible for shaping the architecture of our backend microservices with a focus on complexity and security.</p>
