The Strategy and Operations team at BILL partners with leaders across the business to turn high-priority ideas into measurable outcomes for our customers and our company. As a Senior Staff, Strategic Initiatives , you will be the execution engine behind some of our most important cross-functional programs. Translating strategy into clear plans, driving alignment, and ensuring we deliver results. This is a highly visible, high-autonomy role for a generalist operator who enjoys moving between big-picture thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives from scoping and planning through implementation and post-mortem. Translate high-level business goals into clear workstreams, timelines, and milestones, driving accountability with partners across Product, Operations, Finance, and other teams. Build and manage lightweight program structures (governance, operating cadences, decision logs) that keep senior stakeholders aligned and unblock decisions quickly. Analyze qualitative and quantitative inputs to frame problems, develop options, and make clear, data-informed recommendations to senior leaders. Define success metrics and build dashboards or reporting to track progress, risk, and impact for your initiatives. Identify and codify best practices, tooling, and processes that improve how Strategy and Operations executes work across the company.
