Dedicated Dog Sitter/Walker

Position Summary We are hiring a dedicated and reliable dog sitter/walker for a high‐profile client. This is a hands-on role requiring professionalism, discretion, and strong dog‐handling skills. While this position will keep you quite busy, once you're on the team you will also have access to additional walking and pet‐care opportunities in the area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Golden Retriever (Friendly, Requires Training Maintenance) Needs consistent reinforcement of previously trained behaviors Must not be allowed to pull on the leash No greeting other dogs or people No jumping Additional instructions will be provided as needed 2. Nervous/Reactive Dog Needs time and patience to acclimate to new people Walker must be mindful and proactive when passing other dogs to prevent reactions Calm, confident handling is essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Lives within 15–20 minutes of Upper West Side and Upper East Side (helps with last‐minute requests) Strong experience with dog behavior, including reactive dogs Able to follow structured training and handling instructions Reliable, punctual, and extremely attentive Comfortable working with high‐profile clients Calm under pressure and confident handling two dogs simultaneously Education & Experience Discretion is a must Must pass a background check Must sign an NDA Prior dog‐handling or professional pet care experience required Must be comfortable walking both dogs together #HireFinder #LI-PROMOTED #LI-Remote
