About the Role We’re looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed Accountant to own the operational engine of our finance function. You’ll manage Accounts Payable, weekly cash flow forecasting, treasury ops, expense management (Brex review + compliance), budgeting support, and monthly budget vs. actual reporting. You’ll also assist with core accounting tasks to keep our close tight and accurate. What You’ll Own Accounts Payable: Vendor onboarding, invoice coding, approvals workflow, payment runs. Treasury Cash Ops: Weekly 13-week cash flow model, bank reconciliations, liquidity tracking, payment timing. Expense Management: Review validate all Brex transactions, enforce policy, chase missing receipts, resolve discrepancies. Budgeting Support: Maintain budget files, update spend assumptions, track departmental budgets. Budget vs Actuals: Prepare monthly BvA reports with variance commentary and flag emerging trends. Core Accounting Support: Assist with accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations Assist with monthly close tasks Support audits and tax prep Process Improvement: Automate workflows across AP, approvals, treasury, and expenses.
