Opportunity Summary
We are opening 40 independent service opportunities for Bilingual Interpreters to provide real-time language support between English‑speaking professionals and Spanish‑speaking individuals across a variety of contexts. Service interactions may include healthcare, insurance, customer service, legal assistance, and general inquiries. Experience with medical interpretation is highly desirable, but not mandatory, as alignment and calibration will be provided.
Scope of Services
• The service consists of real-time, first-person consecutive interpretation, ensuring neutrality, accuracy, and high communication standards.
• Deliver accurate consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish speakers.
• Maintain strict first-person interpretation, preserving intent, tone, and register.
• Support diverse communication scenarios, including medical, service, or administrative interactions.
• Uphold confidentiality requirements, including compliance with HIPAA‑aligned standards when medical topics arise.
• Correctly use context‑appropriate terminology (including medical terminology when applicable).
• Apply professional note‑taking and active listening to guarantee precise renditions.
• Request repetition only when strictly necessary.
• Use online dictionaries or glossaries as needed without disrupting service flow.
• Adhere to project‑specific protocols provided during Service Onboarding.
Required Competencies
Linguistic Competencies
Advanced command of English and Spanish (equivalent to C1–C2 or Level 8.5–9).
Clear, neutral pronunciation and strong verbal communication ability.
Capability to interpret quickly and accurately in real time.
Technical Competencies
Familiarity with terminology across industries (healthcare, insurance, services).
Ability to quickly look up terminology.
Strong note‑taking capabilities.
Comfortable using computers, headsets, and call‑center style platforms.
