Payroll Specialist

Job Opening – Payroll Specialist Schedule & Work Modality • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (PST) • Work Model: First 2 weeks: On‑site; Afterward: Hybrid; Based on performance: Eligibility for fully remote work Position Summary The Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurately processing payroll through ADP platforms while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role partners closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to resolve payroll discrepancies, support audits, and assist employees or clients with payroll‑related inquiries. Key Responsibilities • Process weekly, bi‑weekly, or semi‑monthly payroll using ADP systems (Workforce Now, RUN, Vantage, etc.) • Validate employee hours, overtime, PTO, bonuses, and payroll adjustments • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws • Manage payroll taxes, deductions, garnishments, and benefits • Support audits and respond to tax notices or discrepancies • Maintain accurate payroll records and process new hires, terminations, and employee changes • Perform payroll reconciliations and variance analysis • Investigate and resolve payroll errors or employee/client inquiries • Partner with HR and Finance teams to address escalations • Generate payroll reports and identify opportunities for process improvements • Support system updates, transitions, and new client onboarding Qualifications & Skills • Minimum 1 year of payroll processing experience • Hands‑on experience with ADP payroll platforms (required) • Experience managing workflows and tasks using Monday.com • Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, deductions, and wage laws • High attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Strong commitment to confidentiality and data integrity #SolvoGlobal #LI-PROMOTED #LI-Hybrid
