Job Description: What You'll Be Doing: Work closely with business units (Contract Processing, Collections, Customer Service, and accounting staff) to resolve issues related to assigned business lines. Research and resolve assigned requests and effectively communicate resolutions to the requestor. Ensure that cash and billing-related tasks are completed accurately and timely. Perform quality assurance and compliance in AR-related activities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash receipt reports for management as needed. Audit, check, and verify deposits; investigate unapplied cash. Audit offshore outsourcing personnel and assist in resolving and rectifying outstanding issues. Manage the cash application process with internal staff and work with offshore staff to improve processes. Perform various customer account reconciliations as needed. Job Qualifications: What We’re Looking For: Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience in Accounts Receivable. Previous experience researching, analyzing, and solving complex payment discrepancies. Must possess strong organizational skills, documentation skills, and follow-through. Must be able to work independently with little supervision; must be self-directed. Demonstrated ability to adapt and respond appropriately to evolving work demands. Proven ability to problem-solve and take appropriate actions. Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and mathematical abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral). Demonstrated proficiency in meeting timely objectives. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with reconciliation of bank statements and associated research. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Advanced computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Access, and email software). Experience with Oracle AR preferred. Able to interface with various levels of personnel (internal and external).
