We are in hyper-growth mode, and hiring is one of the most important functions in the company. We are looking for a contract Recruiting Coordinator who wants to help shape the role. We are early in building our recruiting function. You will help deliver a great candidate experience and support process improvements, while learning how a recruiting operation scales in a high-growth environment. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work from our Mountain View, CA office 3 days a week, on Tuesday through Thursday What You’ll Do Here Serve as a strategic partner to Recruiters and Hiring Managers, supporting a smooth, efficient, and consistent hiring process across the organization. Own end-to-end interview scheduling, coordinating across complex calendars and time zones with accuracy and professionalism. Be a candidate champion — lead virtual and on-site candidate engagements, acting as the point of contact throughout the entire process and ensuring every candidate feels informed and valued throughout the process. Manage high-volume coordination tasks with a solutions-oriented mindset, proactively improving workflows and processes as the team scales. Maintain accurate candidate records in our applicant tracking system, keeping pipelines up to date and communications timely — both internally and externally. Support global recruiting operations by navigating scheduling and coordination needs across multiple time zones and regions. Keep hiring documentation organized and audit-ready, ensuring interview records and hiring materials are current and accessible. Develop a deep understanding of our recruiting policies, procedures, and best practices, serving as a go-to resource for the team. Identify and flag process gaps that affect candidate coordination or hiring timelines, and bring forward actionable recommendations. Contribute to People team initiatives and special projects that support broader talent and organizational goals. Who You Are Prior experience in a recruiting coordination, HR, or administrative support role Background in a fast-paced, high-growth environment — experience in hardware, software, AI, or a startup setting is a strong plus A communicator who is clear, direct, and confident — someone who can navigate ambiguity without waiting to be told exactly what to do Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, with sharp attention to detail across scheduling, travel logistics, and candidate coordination Strong written and verbal communication skills — you're polished and professional, whether you're emailing a candidate or presenting to a hiring manager A natural relationship-builder who earns trust quickly and maintains strong working relationships across teams and levels Familiarity with an applicant tracking system (ATS); experience with Ashby or similar tools is a plus Compensation The US base salary for this full-time position is determined based on a variety of factors, including role, experience, location, job-related skills, and relevant education and training. Career length is only a guideline for compensation. 2-5 years of experience - $25 - $65 per hour
