We celebrate differences and encourage BANDmates to be their authentic selves. #jointheband What We Are Looking For: We're looking for a Software Development Intern to join our team for Summer 2026 who is hungry for real-world experience on our Bandwidth Messaging Team. We're seeking somebody who loves building things, loves learning new things, and aspires to be a great engineer in the future. You’ll be assigned a dedicated mentor from the Messaging Team who will work closely with you to guide your technical growth, review your work, and help you succeed during your internship. Ideally, we'll find somebody who comes back to work with us full time upon graduation. If you love writing code that sends next-generation text messages using SMS, MMS and over the top applications like WhatsApp and Facebook then we’d like to talk to you. What You'll Do: Build and maintain customer facing APIs Participate in code reviews Contribute to architecting software to build new solutions for our customers Collaborate with product manager software engineering team to efficiently prioritize and deliver message provisioning software What You Need: Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent course of study You love to solve problems You enjoy designing efficient and intuitive solutions You thrive in a team environment You have practical programming skills to write clean and testable code You are comfortable working with Java and databases (Bonus if you can work with AWS as well) The Whole Person Promise: At Bandwidth, we’re pretty proud of our corporate culture, which is rooted in our “Whole Person Promise.” We promise all employees that they can have meaningful work AND a full life, and we provide a work environment geared toward enriching your body, mind, and spirit.
